A SWANSEA boy is bidding for glory in a Welsh musical theatre contest.

Michael Riseley, from Llansamlet, will compete in Swansea Grand Theatre on Saturday against three others in the Welsh Musical Theatre Young Singer of the Year final Having come through an initial Zenith Replica Watches group of 20, the four will be judged by Tim Rhys Breitling Replica Watches Evans, who won BBC's Last Choir Standing competition with Only Men Aloud! The event, sponsored by Principality Building Society, is organised by Dunvant Male Choir and is in its eighth year.

Michael recently performed the role of Adolfo Pirelli in Welsh National Youth Opera's criticallyacclaimed production of Sweeney Todd, alongside fellow contestant Lucy Marie Phillips from Ebbw Vale.
